SPOUSE ILR SET M

Post by Musa786 » Sat Aug 23, 2025 1:59 pm

Hi,

I have the same question. I was absent for more than 180 days during the first year of my 5 year spouse visa route. How does this affect my extension, ILR and citizenship application.

Regards,

Musa

DO NOT tag your query on other posts :!:

The extension and ILR are immigration applications. There are no absence requirements under the family route AT ALL :!:

A nationality application is NOT an immigration application. It is an application under the nationality law which is a separate system with its own requirements. There is no 180-day continuous residence requirement under the nationality law
