Spouse visa 2025

Hello everybody,
I am typing this as I am so stressed thinking about the new spouse visa financial requirements. I am currently in salaried employment for 2 years where I am contracted for 33 hours a week but I am working overtime as well so my pay is usually anywhere between £1800 to £2200 a month. However, this alone would not meet the requirement hence i have picked up another job where I am on 0 hour contract and do hours to make me up £2420 a month to meet the requirements. I have done some research and found out some people discussing this and saying you cannot combine these income is that true? Any advice please help

I think you would qualify, but after 12 consecutive months of having earned more than £29,000.

You can combine salaried with non salaried employment as long as boht employment held throughout 6 month period


Annual calculation formula will be different

For salaried employment (A): they will take lowest monthly income earned within last 6 month and will multiply with 12 to calculate your annual salary

For non salied or zero hour(B)= they will add all 6 months earning and will divide by 6 and multiply with 12 to calculate annual salary
