Spouse visa UK Advice?

Post by mecvins » Mon Oct 20, 2014 9:28 am

My wife have submitted her visa in Nigeria and she have post the supporting document that i sent to her but unfortunately i forgot to get most recent letter from my employer but i did include my payslips and p60 for tax year 2013 of my earning above £20000,and tax year 2014 my earning £20410.my question is can i get a most recent letter from my employer and send it to Shefield as the documents my wife sent through DHL will arrived today in Shefield or is it too late ?
Can the refused her application base on this ommission? I did include a contract letter i was given in 2011 when i was employed at my work place.i have been in the same place of work since then

It is a specified evidence.

And it is specific what the content of the letter should be.

Perhaps they will overlook that, if they can ascertain the details from the other evidence you provided.

Please note that it is part of the Specified evidence, in Appendix FM-SE.

Is it an in country application or an Entry Clearance application.

If it is an Entry clearance application, i find it had to understand how sending it to Sheffield will make sense.

You can send it to them and hope it will be linked to the file.

It's a gamble basically... as Obie says it could go either way especially as it is a specified document.
Get the letter sent anyway and make sure it includes exactly what UKVI stated in the FM-SE document.
