Spouse visa appeal

Post by hope66 » Mon Feb 13, 2006 12:34 pm

Hello,

I appealed last year after ECO refused my settlement visa and received a letter from the AIt with two pages:One is the notice of hearing date and place. But I dont understand the other page entitled DIRECTIONS,saying:"you must send the following documents to Asylum and immigration Tribunal 5 days before the date of full hearing:
1-Witness statements of the evidence to be called at the hearing, such statements to stand as evidence in chief at the hearing
2-A paginated and indexed bundle of all the documents to be relied on at the hearing with a schedule identifying the essential passages

please explain :
1-What is a witness statement of the evidence?

2-what documents they mean? are they the same as the ones I sent with my appeal form to counteract ECO arguments(Banks statements, pay slips, utility bills etc...)?Must I send wedding photos, letters?

We have no legal representative, but I can prepare the documents.

Your advice will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

If you can phone them or email them and ask them exactly what they want....
Where there is a will there is a way.
