Spouse Visa application based on cash savings

Post by ayatmaazi » Sat Mar 30, 2024 2:35 am

Hi,

I am filling up my wife's application for a spouse visa and we meeting the financial requirement based on cash savings in my bank account over time that I have saved from my paid employment.

Questions
1. Is it correct to just write a short explanation that the savings are over time savings from paid employment or do i need to provide anymore details?
2. The savings I have is kept in two different account but over the past six months I have moved the money from one account to another. Will this cause any issue as it states that the money should be available or kept atleast for six months. Although it has been moved but to my own account like from current to savings and vice versa.
3. Is the six month of having the savings counted prior to the date of application or the date of biometric.

Questions
1. Is it correct to just write a short explanation that the savings are over time savings from paid employment or do i need to provide anymore details? Your explanation should suffice.
2. The savings I have is kept in two different account but over the past six months I have moved the money from one account to another. Will this cause any issue as it states that the money should be available or kept atleast for six months. Although it has been moved but to my own account like from current to savings and vice versa. So far it has not gone below the required amount in the last 6months when totalled between the accounts
3. Is the six month of having the savings counted prior to the date of application or the date of biometric. Date of application is what is relevant.
