spouse visa - biometric enrollment

Post by coverwhatyoucan » Wed Jan 28, 2015 1:11 pm

i've applied to switch my fiance visa to married, and along with all the documents i've had enclosed a deed poll due to marriage, confirming my name change, however I have just received the letter asking to enroll my biometric details and the details are in my maiden name (like to my passport) .
does it mean I will have to have my new visa under my old name and then apply for a new passport with new name and also a new visa?

I'm from Brazil and on my embassy website it says i can only register my marriage in my country (for legal reasons) if my new visa comes with my new name, they don't accept deep polls as proof of name change, so I'm very confused and worried.

thanks so much in advance if someone could clear my mind
