UK Spouse visa - Employment query

Hi,

While filling the form I came across a question which is bit confusing. Would really appreciate if someone here could help.

I have chosen the Employment option under Financial requirement. However, there's an option which says "Are they a director or non-executive director of a limited company based in the UK?" on Evidence required page. I am currently a Director of two companies, not related to my employment and also not trading.

Now, my question is, do I need to Select "Yes" here and submit the long list of evidences that were mentioned in FM-SE? Honestly, I don't see a point doing it as I am now full time employed and have not been receiving any income from my businesses.

I'm in exactly the same situation. If the companies aren't connected with income I don't see why they need to be mentioned?

I read from another post that the director declaration is really if you intend to use income or dividends from that business as proof of income. I receive no income from my limited co, so I assume I can just answer 'no' to that question? Thanks
