Hello Everyone,
I was in correspondence with someone who was a Non-E.U national from a visa required country who seemed to have moved to Ireland in the last one year after marrying an Irish national abroad. He says that the visa application process took him just one week(he had good documentation about their relationship). He then arrived at Dub airport with a D-spouse visa and had a stamp4 permit stamped on his passport at immigration. He then took the stamp4 permit to the Garda station where he says he was issued a registration card almost immediately which entitles you to work soon after that. He also recommends having a police clearance certificate from your home country, as a lot of employers had asked him for one as a condition of employment.
I am not sure if the proceedure described above is as easy as it's described, but I will be applying to join my spouse very soon, and I will keep everyone updated if it's still the same proceedure.Hope this will help everyone who is stressed out about joining their spouse due to a lack of appropriate information.
Regards.
