Spouse VISA, medical trouble?

Post by vinpat1 » Mon May 18, 2009 1:24 pm

Hi All

We have applied for a marriage visa for my Wife to come to the UK with me to settle.

We applied through the Ahmd VFS office on 23/03/09. Then we got the medical dates for 23/04/09.
However, during the X-ray, a spot was detected on one of my Wife's lung. She has never had any symptons of TB. I have read that this can still show up. She had her blood tests done but we don't know the results.

Since this medical she has started a course with another doctor until we hear from the BHC.

Today we checked the status and it says 'Processed application in Transit'
Does anyone know what this means?Does this mean she has been given the visa?

Thanks
Vinesh

BHC Completed your application process with in a week you should get your passport back and check the status.

Update your visa status here

Best of luck

Hi All

My wife got her Visa today!!!We are so happy!! We were worrying about nothing, the letter states that there is no reason why she should not be allowed to enter the UK based on her medical reports.

What a relief! Now we will look to book her ticket!

Just one quick question. If a spot was seen on her x-ray, will she have any trouble entering the UK if they need to see this?Or will they not ask for it?

Thanks!!
A very very happy Vinesh :D
