Spouse Visa Pakistan - Processing Time

Post by topazstar » Wed Sep 19, 2007 3:34 pm

Would be really interested to hear back from anyone that recently obtained Spouse Visa in Pakistan. We applied in Karachi about 2 weeks ago and have been told it can take from one week to 12 weeks. We used an Immigration Advisor and provided a very detailed wallet of evidence. I am hopeful that this may assist in speeding up the process but I have no idea why some applications go through fast and others do not.
Any feedback or details of timescales from anyone in a similar situation would be extremely helpful.

My nephew applied for sposue visa @Islamabad on 21st July 2007 and was refused on 9th August. so it took less tahn two weeks to decide. I think they are processing them fast now a day whereas before it was 3 months
