Lots more information for you to dig out on those webpages and their links.Application fee $637.00 and return courier postage $15.00
No, not at all. My wife got her spouse visa a mere 17 days after our marriage was legally registered, and indeed just 12 days after our big religious wedding. Admittedly that was not in Australia but the country the visa application will make no difference as regards how long the couple have been married.I will be applying for the spouse visa very soon after the wedding (as soon as possible). Is this likely to be a problem?

I've been able to find very little information online about spouse visas and applying for them.
No actually .. much longer than that. You need to appreciate that the waiting time varies considerably around the world. I notice that the website of BHC Canberra is talking about 5 days, which is great. So that sounds like your wife's visa came through in only about 5 days?
Those links I gave you? The link given to you by JAJ? Have you looked there for the answer to your question?Naiad wrote:So what kind of supporting documentation do you have to include. What goes in your 'evidence folder'?
Look upon those letters as an opportunity to mention anything not dealt with by the application form or the other evidence that you think might help paint a good picture.Niaid wrote:"letters from you and your sponsor that are relevant to your application"
