Spouse visa

Post by Anna23 » Mon Feb 13, 2023 9:17 pm

Hi everyone,

I got my spouse visa 2 and half years ago and now it will expire soon. I was trying to fill the application online and was not very sure about certain things.

1.I gave my B1 for English language, so is that still applicable or do I have to give that again to prove English language?
2. Do my husband need to show any funds in his account ? It so how long should it be in his account ?
3. Do I need to show any funds in my account ?

It would be a great help if someone could help me with my queries.
Thank you 😊

It does not require you showing money in account, rather show 6months pay slips and account statement proving an income of £18,600/year.
Either of you can use your income meeting the requirements for this purpose.

Hi,

I am so confused with my spouse visa application. Looking for some help please.
I started my limited company in 2019 and Did trading till 2021.
After that no trading was done in the year 2021- 2022 and was working as a sole trader and paid tax as a sole trader for the year 2021- 2022
Again from 2022- till date my company is back to trading.
So, the problem is I have my documents of tax paid as sole trader for the last financial year but the limited company was active without any trading.
How do i clarify my situation to HMRC?
Please kindly help.
