Hi everyone,
I’ve been on Stamp 1 for 21 months and am now preparing to apply for Stamp 4. One of the required documents is a company letter that should state my “location of employment.” as well.
According to both the company handbook and my Critical Skills Employment Permit (CSEP), my official work location is the office address in Dublin. However, I actually work remotely from a town about two hours away from Dublin with the exception of one voluntary day in a month and required 2 days once in a quarter for quarterly meeting.
I think my work location is technically supposed to be the Dublin office as stated in my CSEP, and I’m concerned that if I mention working remotely, it might raise questions about why I’m based here from the start. On the other hand, if I ask HR to issue a letter stating my location of employment as the Dublin office, I worry this could be seen as misleading.
How should I handle this situation? Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
