Stamp 4 requirements

Post by PreNat » Tue Aug 11, 2009 3:16 pm

Hi,

I hope someone can help me...I have resently lost my job due to redundancy and have not yet been able to find another position I'm a EU citizen but my husband isn't... would my not working have any implications on his Eufam stamp 4 card...is he still legally allowed to work in Ireland? :?

I'm sure once your spouse is working then you could be considered self sufficent providing he can support you? The EU citizen doesn't necessarily have to be working???

Thanx ciaramc,

It just when he first applied the Immagration officer said that because I was working in Ireland he could apply for the card. I have tried seeing our local officer but he's never in.... :x

Don't worry I think it's mainly not becoming a burden to the state....once you are self sufficient you are ok!
