Stamp 4

Post by Johnkenn » Fri Jun 04, 2010 9:03 am

I have a temporary stamp given to me when i applied for my EU 1 which is for 6 month pending when my application will be process. Will they accept that for Job Interview since it will only show that it is for 6month.

Possibly not and, if applicable, you should explain to the potential employer of your right of residence in Ireland as the family member of an EEA national, and that acquisition of a Residence Card is a mere formality.

Realistically, I'm afraid the employer may not understand or be willing to "risk" it. It goes without saying, it's an employers market at the moment.

Take that along then, hopefully it will carry some weight. Consider also taking a copy of Directive 2004/38/EC and SI 656 of 2006.
