Standard visit Visa for mother

Good afternoon all,

Wondering if someone can shed some light or perhaps share their experience please?

I would like to invite my mother for a month's visit, I am a British Citizen and these are some the details related to her application:

*She is over 60 and from Pakistan
*Widowed and a House wife
*She has been to other countries i.e. Dubai and Malaysia
*She hasn't got any bank account in her name
*No real estate property in her name either at the moment
*Source of income - my brother supports her financially
*I will be sponsoring her visit fully

Based on the above, should I make an application for a standard visit visa or would it not be feasible?

Nothing is impossible. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Always been my motto.

Having said that, I hope you're earning really good here in the UK. Invite her, write a very detailed invitation letter stating where you and your spouse work and designations.
Add your 6 months payslip and 6 months statement of account. If you have a mortgage, chuck it in there. If not, not the end of the world, just add an utility bill.

Make sure you state categorically that you'd be fully responsible for travel, accommodation and general upkeep whilst here in the UK.

Her travel history isn't exactly reinforced in steel and concrete, but it helps to show that even though she isn't working, she makes things happen.
