Standard Visitor visa - ADVISE NEEDED

I am working in UK on TIER 2 ICT for my Company. I stay in a company apartment and want to invite my father to UK for a short visit of 2 weeks. He is working and has enough enough proofs to support his visit. So he is sponsoring his trip himself.

I want him to stay with me in my company's apartment as i already have company approval. But since this apartment is not leased to me directly. I get daily per GBP diems for my UK work and I do not pay any utility tax , rent or council tax. I do have house address in my UK bank statements though.

1) Can he stay with me even if I cant give any rent agreement or accommodation letter to him.

2) In his Visa Application should he mention that he is going as a tourist visitor and not to visit me ? In that case should we book a hotel and mention hotel address in application ?

1) The company's approval in writing, with some particulars of the accommodation, should satisfy them.
2) If he is visiting you and staying with you, then that should be okay. Why would he say the contrary?

I cant give a proof of my stay in UK as of now as My passport is currently in country extension phase. My current visa is valid till June and shall be extended till Oct. My dad is planning to visit in Sept and that is as per my current visa status I will not be there in Sept technically.

They would want a letter from my side stating my visa status which needs to be till Sept if he is visting me. Thats why i want to explore the possibilities of him going ahead with his visa independently and once my own visa is extended , i can cancel his hotel bookings .
