Status check and Contacts

Apart from the tiresome status checking on the site (https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/ ... /GetStatus)

Is there any other way we can check the latest with our Renunciation Certificate application?
Has anybody tried any other way to get in touch with the CGI office for status of their applications?

Can't call VFS and there's no other way I can find to reach out to anybody in relation to my application.

Its been more then the suggested 60days period for me and I haven't seen the status change from 'Application Received' to anything else.

Anybody here has any alternative means to get in touch with the HCI to check the status of my RC application?

It is already 2 1/2 months since my application submission at VFS centre but there has been no status change and no other means I can reach out to them. My wife and I need to book our tickets to India soon but its all getting delayed due to this unnecessarily stretched RC process and then further 6-8 weeks for OCI.

Has anybody tried any other way like an email or a contact number to talk to somebody to see what's happening with the RC?
