Hi I sent my application for my eea2 on the 13.03.08 and today I received a phone call sayng that my passport had been sent on Friday and had I not received it yet. The reason they called apparently is because my passport has expired during the time i have been waiting. They said my application has been successful. However, I read on the bia home office website that they cannot process an application if a valid passport is not present. They say this is due to being unable to verify identity without it being valid. I assumed they would have requested that the passport be extended and then cometo a deision on the application.
I have heard that i SHOULDN'T BELIEVE i HAVE GOT MY RC until i actually see it in my passport.
