PG student's dependand's visa

i am studying MA (health care )management in newcastle college .I came here 28/01/2010 for 18 months course and now i am in payed placement till march 1st.i would like to take my husband to here by dependant visa. pls tell what are the requirments for it. and i also heared that even for PG student's dependant ,they stamp no work in the visa.is it correct.

I don't think if UKBA will stamp the visa as "no work allowed" unless the rules are changed.
