Student dependent visa, please help me out

Post by eriak » Tue Oct 12, 2010 7:55 pm

My wife is applying for a UK student dependent visa next month. The following are the documents she will be presenting

VAF

tenancy agreement plus land lord consent letter

certificate from my council confirming that my accomodation is suitable for us

my 3 month bank statement of £1,100 balance
My wife's 3 month bank statement of about £1,300 balance (I have been in UK for almost 3 years and thus have established presence)

Letter from my University confirming my enrolment

my utility bills for the last 3 months

marriage certificates

wedding photos

pre marital photos

emails since 2006

my uncle's bank statement with a balance of about £10,000. He acted as partly as a sponsor as Im on a scholarship that pays for my full tuition fees alone. He will attach a letter to the effect that he will continue to sponsor me and that he is aware of my wife's impending arrival

Is there any other thing I have missed out? Can some one share the experience? Many thanks

Main applicant passport, visa copies and biometric residence permit (formerly known as an identity card for foreign nationals). All attested by United Kingdom notary public by a solicitor.

Thanks... Definitely I will attach a copy of my passport. But should it necessarily be signed since the BHC already has my records?

Well, a solicitor can make it more authentic that you are what you saying you are. Otherwise someone can use others id as well. Nevertheless it’s not mandatory.
