Student extension application sent on student visa expiry da

Dear Friends,
My student visa expires on 31/12/2009 and i sent my student visa extesion application on 31/12/2009. In other words i sent my student visa extesion application on student visa expiry date.
Will it be a problem or not?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as other aspects of your applications were fine.

And that you have proof of posting on that date! Just so they don't use the excuse that you posted it out of time.

Hope you used recorded or special delivery to post your application!

Yes I did post trough Special Royal Mail delivery and I have receipt.

If you send it on the day of expiry, you are fine but try to avoid this in future.

Or use the quickest delivery option (same day delivery!)

Now it is gone. I posted it through special delivery so same day service is not practicable any more.
I was stuck with all college letters thats why it got late. But i am sure it wont happen again.

ooh, thanks for telling me. I didn't know. Not that I ever used same day delivery. I prefer DHL or Fedex especially when it comes to shipping passports and such.

I just checked my package will be deliverd tomorrow,guaranteed.
It cost my for special delivery 6pounds and for same day service it it 60 to 150 pounds.

oh sorry, i thought you were telling me that they're no longer doing same day delivery. My mistake. Â£6 and Â£60 is quite a difference!
