student visa extension rejected..urgent help reqd!

Post by chromium_vi » Tue Feb 02, 2010 6:42 pm

Hi All,

My application for student visa extension (tier4) came back with refusal after 9 months and after 7months of expiry of my visa. The only point stated on refusal letter is that they could not see any progress in my studies. I am doing ACCA from FTC kaplan, and passed 2 papers out of 5. Unfortunately gave 2 papers again in next semester and failed again, both time with least possible margine.I am awating results for latest attempt on 3 papers by february end which i know i will pass with no doubt. and now as i have been given time until 10th feb to apeal, i have no idea what should i do and whom should i contact.
Please put forward your suggestions and ideas and contacts for any solicitor/consultant if possible..i will be grateful to you all.

Many Thanks

ACCA as far as I know is kind of international which you can do everywhere. You don't have to be in UK to do ACCA.

Why not try doing it from your home country ? You can return to UK once you are qualified.

My friend accept 'inwarsaw's Golden advise.
I dont see You have anyother option. HO is very strick nowadays on AccA, CAT, CIMA's student visa extention coz students are studing from more than 10 years in same courses.

I'm sorry If I hurt you. :?

Inwersaw and logic

What you guys are trying to prove here... advice is not being sought on personal matters of chromium. Advice is only being sought on 'process of loding appeal'

According to my limited knowledge you should lodge an appeal yourself before the deadline....wait for your ACCA results if you pass minimum 2 of 3 exams then you stand a good chance on appeal... at that point take help of some laywer or consultant... if you do not pass any paper even at this current attempt then situation looks difficult for you.

If you search this forum you will fine some useful information about lodging appeals as this topic has been discussed many times in the past.
