Student Visa to PSW Transition Period - Work rights

Hi Everyone

I created this new topic so that it helps people who want to know their right to work while awaiting for PSW visa decision.

As student visas expire on 30 Jan 2011, if anyone gets their visa after this date, they will still be eligible to work because they will have student rights until a decision has been reached on their application.

In order to make your employer aware of the same, you need to make sure they complete ECS form available on UKBA site and email it along with the Acknowledgement letter.

Kindly note that this applies only for temporary work and NOT permanent positions.
