student visa refusal

Post by hums » Thu Sep 13, 2007 6:39 pm

Hello,

I have applied for an student visa, and I have been refused. I have made an appeal, and the answer were that I am 42 years old but in fact I am 24 years old. Also, I have a good A level cambridge certi in English, they say I am not proficient in English. I have shown funds exceeding the required one, they say not enough funds.

Can you explain what I can do next please.

regards

 How's that possible!?

If you want to argue that they got your age wrong, provide them with proof! Can you appeal again? If so, send a copy (notarised, if needed) of your birth certificate or passport, or any evidence of your age.

Did you write the wrong date/age?

If you cannot appeal, then try submitting a fresh application, maybe this time using a qualified immigration consultant. However, since you mention that they don't think your English or funds are sufficient, you'd have to prove this also. What were you planning on studying (e.g. degree, phd, etc)?
