I am not sure what to do and need some help working things out. I contacted a someone who i thought was a solicitor before my visa expired and between 2011 and 2013 i parted with over £4000 with the solicitor saying he is dealing with and WILL get me indefinate leave as he will go to court on my behlaf and get the court to give me right to say on human rights right to private life. I originaly went for help as the college i was going to were not running classes properly and did not want to continue there, after his advise i stopped going and thus became illegal.
Unfortunatley i was done over the solicitor turned out not to be member of the law society but part of some other organisation which gave him the right to givve advise. The solicitor did a runner with everones money and has disappeared. He has done no work for me but sent me letetrs and stuff telling he had done this and that and decision imminent. I have all the correspondance showing this and reciepts of the payments as well.
Heres the dilema, another soliciter has said he can apply direct to the court asking the court to give me another chance due to the fraud done to me at an initial cost of £1000 and £4000 if sucessful, he is 80 % sure my application will be heard and be given discretionary leave to remain and given option to arrange another visa. But i have asked others who say it cant be done. which is true???

Hi sorry to hear about ur situation but I m afraid you won't get the discretionary leave as you just been here for 5 years and you have no family n kids here that u can claim right to private life
But yes you can try n win the case in court n get a right to make a new application.

Dont waste your money as u have no basis to get DLR because of family and private life.
U r young just 22 so better to try your luck somewhere else.
