Student visa

Hi,
Just asking for some advice really?

I am a venezuelan girl living in Dublin as a student. I have been studying English in a language school since July. My plan was to study here and then go back to Venezuela but things have changed since then. I have a met someone and want to stay here for longer. He is polish and is studying full time in Dublin and will be doing so for the next 2 years. I want to stay on but I don't know what to do. Can I get my student visa extended and if so how easy is that to do? I have looked at the information on the Department of Foreign affairs website but I thought I might see here if anyone is having the same experience as me?

Any answers would be much appreciated....
