student visa

Post by richie france » Wed Nov 02, 2011 7:20 pm

hello,
my apologies if this has been already covered !
i am currently a uk electrician living in france (for 4years).
what i would like to do is go to a US college to do an electrical engineering associate , which would hopefully enhance my chances of getting in permanently.
i have a wife and 3 kids.
i have the money to support me (and family) for the duration of the course.
is there anything i should know/do before i try to get the whole thing underway.
thanks in advance

Just to let you know, an associate degree is not going to get you into the US.
