student visa work for one year visa categories?

Hello
I was wondering what categories are the permit free student visa applicable to?

what i mean to ask is if a person gets a student visa, he/she is allowed to work on it for a year after his/her course ends

i heard this 1 year "work visa" is only applicable for certain categories. cn you guys lists it. are IT workers in that category

i think management graduates are not?
