Student to workpermit and back to student?

Is it possible to change status as student from work permit status. Person in question was student, got workpermit and wants to change it to student as he wants to go to college to get advanced knowledge and apply workpermit again in one year time.

Yes its possible as long the registered course is degree level or above.
