go study abroad after just getting married?

Post by xz00022 » Mon Mar 07, 2011 7:47 pm

Hi my fiance and I just applied COA, we plan to get married after we receive the COA. (Currently I'm on TIER 4 visa, and it will expire Jan 2012.)
Meanwhile, I also have a plan to go study abroad for 1 year in 2012 .

The point is, if my study plan will affect my spouse visa application? should I apply the spouse visa before I leave?

Can anyone please help me about this? Many thanks.

Why apply for a spousal visa if you're going to be leaving the country? You'd only have to extend later.

I saw some requirement saying : I need to stay in UK for at least 2 years then I can apply spouse visa in this country.

Don't know if it is right information.
