Submitted BRP for provisional drivers license

Anyone had to submit their BRP for a provisional drivers license recently? My wife submitted hers as proof of identity 3 weeks ago, but we still didn't hear anything back.

It was submitted via Special Delivery with a self addresses special delivery envelope inside. I can see that it was signed for in Swansea (although at 4.41am?). My biggest fear is losing the BRP and having to go through that whole process again :roll:

Anyone done this recently and have a timeline of how long it took before they got a provisional license and documents back?

Cheers, guess that makes sense. Hard to find solid info on ETA with our specific details.

They say 2 weeks, but in your case probably double that time.

I am in the same situation now awaiting the return of my brp. May I know how long it took for yours to be returned please?
