Submitted my Tier 1 Application Pack today from New Zealand

Post by tonynz » Wed Dec 17, 2008 9:15 am

I am applying from New Zealand and am bit stressed cause I've followed the instructions as per on the website which means I've sent in all my supporting documents as well as:

http://ukinnewzealand.fco.gov.uk/en/vis ... r1-general

- Points summary from the UK Border Agency Website
- Appendix 1 from the UK Border Agency Website
- Online application form print out
- Bio-matrix receipt

HOWEVER - my friend told me that when he applied - he had to fill out a 70 page form while my Appendix is only about 8 pages (Appendix 1) ....

Did I miss out something obvious?

Thanks

Got a call today

Post by tonynz » Thu Dec 18, 2008 4:46 am

Got a call today from the UK Embassy in New Zealand saying that my application is missing my passport picture, I told them it's in my passport and they haven't called back

It's nice to see them making the effort to call me up rather than waiting 6 weeks and write me a letter rejecting me and charging me

I think it's a good start since I only sent the package yesterday and they've received it today!

Nowhere else would they do this! It says a lot about the country.

All the best with your application and future prospects in the UK.
