Submitting T1 application while waiting for IELTS

Post by singhs » Sun Mar 14, 2010 10:46 pm

Hi,

Just wanted to check if it is acceptable to submit a T1 application without having received the IELTS score and then forward the same later once the transcripts come through?

I am sitting for IELTS on 20th March but want to submit my application before the 6th of April to avoid the increase in fees that is coming in to force from the 6th.

Requesting knowledgeable boarders to give some insight / information on this please.

Thanks

As far as I know, it is enough to provide a letter from University stating that the medium of instruction was English or the applicant should have been a resident of English Speaking country. If these two criteria were not met, then a valid Score of IELTS/TOFEL would be required to claim points under Language requirement. Are the rules changed? (For Tier-4 IELTS/TOFEL Equivalent Exam is mandatory)

Thanks

Letter from institution not necessary any-more. If your degree gives you points for English language requirement in the pbs calculator, just your degree certificate is enough.
