Supporting document for dependent

Hi all,

One of my friend who is on Tier 2 (ICT) wants to apply for his UK born daughter's dependent Visa in India. He is in UK and his wife will apply child's dependent visa in India. He has been asked to provide notorized copy his UK Visa. Is having notorised copy must? I have never heard UKBA asking a notorised copy. I mean they have issued visa they can anytime check authenticity of visa in their system.

HCI London will not notorise his UK Visa. What he needs to do?
