Supporting documents

Post by octo » Mon Jul 23, 2007 7:22 pm

My Fiancee and I will be applying for a fiance visa in October this year.

One of the documents needed to support the application is a tenancy agreememt for my rented home. The only problem is that my tenancy runs for 6 months at a time, and it expires on the 4th of Dec.

I've lived here for over 18 months and I just renew the tenancy every 6 months, with no problems

Do you think this is likely to cause a problem with the application? I've been in touch with my landlord, but he only deals with 6 month contracts, nothing longer.I don't want something as small as this to be the difference between it being accepted or denied.

Any advice greatly appreciated

You can consider including your tenancy history as attachments to the application. That, along with your landlord's written consent to another occupant, should be sufficient. Sample at http://www.londonelegance.com/transpond ... lord.shtml
