sure start maternity grant

my wife applied for SSMG, are we eligible for it?
we have child tax credit award for 216 day, amount we received is 648 GBP, which works out 3 GBP per day, so for full year we will get 1095 GBP.
should we tick on the form that we getting child tax credit at a rate higher than the family element?

just received decision today, 500 GBP will be send to my account, so 1095 GBP must be enough.
