Surrender certificate

Post by ABC_321 » Wed Dec 04, 2024 3:46 pm

Hi
I've applied for surrender certificate at VFS Goswell on 26th Nov
the status changed to Embassy received it and under processing since 27th Nov
but it didnt moved a bit at all afterwards
can anyone confirm how many days they usually take?

Obviously need to apply for OCI after this and need to travel to India as soon as I received it.
by the way Is there is a speed process service for OCI or it must take 6 to 8 weeks?
Thanks

There is no speedy process for OCI but you can travel using e-visa

takes anywhere b/w 2-4 weeks. Ours took 3.5 weeks to come.. If any urgency, you have to apply e-visa..
