Surrender Indian Passport and get the OCI Card

We have received our British passports for myself, my wife, and our children (aged 15 and 12). We currently live in the UK and are now planning the next steps:

Surrendering our Indian passports
Applying for OCI cards

I have started looking into the passport surrender process, but I’m confused about the two links provided on the VFS website:

a. https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/Renounce

b. https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/

Could you please clarify which link I should use for our situation (Indian citizens now holding British passports and living in the UK)?

I would also be grateful if you could outline the correct process and the documents we need to upload for passport surrender and OCI applications.

Apologies if this has been answered many times before—I’ve looked through various sources but haven’t been able to find

You need to apply through b. https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/ and use the same login to surrender all passports, no need of different login accouts
Option a has been removed from process and you can ignore Renounce process
