Swiss Schengen Visa for dependent of UK resident

I hold a UK HSMP visa, valid upto 19 November 2009. My wife is here as a dependent. We're planning a trip to Switzerland for 4 days, returning on 3rd Aug 2009. The swiss visa website says resident visa should be valid for 3 months after the return, so I guess this should be ok.

I'm going to be using the drop box facility since regular appointments were not available till August. My question is: How do I submit the form for my wife - I'll be submitting a separate form, but what about documents? I was thinking of submitting duplicates of everything I submit with my form, and then include a covering letter explaining my situation. Will that be fine?
