Hello,
I finished my Bachelors degree in June 2008 and then returned back to my home country. Now am willing to apply for the Tier 1 Post Study Worker by the very ending of this month (January). I still have not find a job relative to my degree but my chances in finding one would be better once I be there in the UK.
My problem is that I, recently, have applied for an MSc course in London and which will start by the 19th of this month. The University which I've applied for requires that I pay a deposit prior to the start of the course.
My first option would be to go for a job, however, finding one is not 100% guaranteed. In addition, I have to wait till the end of this month to apply for the Post Study Worker visa due to the maintenace funds requirement.
My first question is: "If I applied, from my home country, for a student visa based on the MSc course can I then while in the UK switch to the Post Study Worker visa based on my old 3 years student visa [the one I had while I was doing my bachelors degree],i.e. before I complete the MSc course which I've enrolled on?"
My second question is: "Can people under the Post Study Worker Visa, while working full-time, also study part-time?"
Your kind concern and co-operation in answering the above two questions are highly appreciated.
Kind regards.
