Switching between ICT Tier 2

Hi

I was on ICT Tier 2 long term staff visa from Feb 2013 onwards. I have quit my employer and returned to India in May 2015. My new employer is ready to sponsor my ICT Tier 2 long term staff visa.

Can anyone please suggest if there is any cooling period while switching between ICT Tier 2 long term staff visas?

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

1. A cool-off of 12 months (from the day you left UK) will apply if you want to apply for a new Tier 2 ICT long term visa.

2. Hypothetically, even if the cool-off was not applicable, your new employer cannot apply for a Tier ICT LT visa for you since you have not spent 12 months with the employer. It's one of the criteria to apply for ICT LT visa.
