Switching of Employers under Tier2

Post by sanchay » Tue Sep 01, 2015 7:25 pm

Hi,

I have a very peculiar case to discuss. I was working on my Tier 2 VISA which was due to expire in 2017. I decided to change my job and I got a new sponsor and my new VISA application has also been approved by UKBA.
Now once my application was approved , I told my present employer that I will be leaving, but hearing it they have offered me a pretty enticing deal.
What will be the procedure if I wish to remain with my current employer only now? Is it possible or I am bound to leave my current employer now ? Or I have to apply for a new VISA now?

Surely your new employer would have something to say about this?? You have agreed a contract with them and it is legally binding.

I think you would have to reapply with your 'old' employer and would have to pass the RLMT etc... as your 'old' visa has been superceded and replaced with your leave with your 'new' employer.
