Switching from WP to HSMP..

Hi all,

I am working in india now, my employer is planning to send me to UK on Work permit by december, can i switch to HSMP after going there?
I'd like to switch to HSMP as soon as i reach there since there seems to be a change in HSMP rules in 2008.

Will this any way affect my work permit?
Will the employer be informed about this?
Can i stay with the same employer after switching to HSMP?

u can switch to HSMP based on ur last 15 months earnings and dcos if u have to show them.

once u get HSMP ur WP is cancelled.

u can stay with the same employer but u have to tell ur visa status to him.

Can i change my status from WP to HSMP soon after i reach UK? If yes, how can i show the bank statement proofs?

In some of the posts i saw ppl. submitting minimum 3 months sal slip and bank statements. Any suggestions
