Switching from Tier 1 psw to Tier 2 general

I read the policy guidance of tier 2 general, is it right that if a person is switching from the tier 1 PSW to tier 2 general (working for more than 6 months with same employer), he/she doesn't has to show £800 as his/her fund requirement in the UK?
