Switching from WHM into Tier 1 Dependent visa category

Dear all,

My girlfriend/fiance is currently here in London on a Working Holiday Maker visa. I am here on a Tier 1 Visa.

I know that the Home Office is strict about switching from WHM category into other visa categories.

Do any of you foresee any problems that would affect her switching from the WHM category to a dependent visa category? (dependent upon my Tier 1 visa)

She is currently doing some contracting work here on her WHM visa too. I heard from some that the Home Office might be sticky about her working here on a WHM.

Not sure if this too will pose a problem. I hope that a dependent visa application would be straight forward, considering that we are both now entering into marriage.

You cannot make any in country changes to status from a WHM Visa. At the end of her Visa, be it when she has worked for 12 months or stayed the full 24, she will be required to go home and apply from her native country. The only exception would to be if she was able to get Tier 2 sponsorship from an employer and her skills were on the Skills Shortage list.

Same question, is this just a rumour, someone have been affected by or some document reference. I am also with WHM visa but trying to get Tier1 visa. Thanks.
