Switching from work permit to HSMP

Hi,

At present, I am working in UK on Work permit. My dependents are also living in UK with dependent VISA.

I am planning switch my visa status from work permit to Tier 1 general.
I came to UK 6 months ago along with my family and children.
According to new policy, I need to show GBP1600 per each dependent.
Now I want to apply only for me and my wife because of lack of funds.
I wanted to apply for my children after two months.

Are my children allowed to stay in UK for two months with work permit dependent visa ?

Please can anybody help me.

Yes, it is possible to aply for ur kids later; but there is a time frame, I think within 28days of ur channge in ur visa status u shd apply for them... lets wait 4 confirmation from others..

U got to apply together cuz of 3 months maintenance issue...
