Switching of Skilled Worker Visa & Dependent extension

Hi All,
Hoping someone could help me here.

I am in the UK on a skilled worker visa and soon going to change my job from one employer to next, continuing on a skilled worker visa. However, the new employer needs some time to provide the COS.

Meanwhile, my spouse's dependant visa is getting expired this month and so I applied for a priority dependant visa extension for her using my current company's COS. She submitted the biometrics last week on priority, however, we still haven't heard back from UKVI on the visa decision.

I also have incorrectly answered "Yes" to one of the questions on the visa form which asked "Is Partner's job on the immigration salary list?'.

Now I am super nervous on what might come of the application.

I also want to know if I now resign will it impact my spouse's ongoing dependant visa application? I understand that companies send a notice to home office to terminate COS but does it happen as soon as employee resigns or after their last day of notice period?
