I'm just looking to get some information in relation to switching my PSW to tier 2.
I know you can switch into that category if you've been employed in the role for over 6 months then your employer won't have to do the migrant labour market test.
However, could the 6 months include time that I've worked as a temp through a recruitment agency? I know technically my agency is my employer during that time, but would it count if I have been doing the same job, even though I am not being directly paid by the company I work for?
I have finally gotten my employer to offer me a fixed term contract, after a long battle with HR and teaching them how to understand their own job.

The issue is that I've already been in the role as a temp for 5 months and I really don't want to be employed in that role for another 6 months before I can apply. Would the UKBA recognise the time I've spent as a temp doing the same job?
Any information you can provide would be appreciated.
