Can someone tell me , is it important to get an offer letter for switching status from student to work permit.

i am not sure but one is not allow to switch from student to wp unless he has complete the course in the UK

correct me if i am wrong

I have completed my Master's degree from UK, only i was asking about offer letter, and secondly if u can tell me, is it possible for me to apply on my own or only employer can do so on my behalf.

u can apply on your own but you will have to do all the paperwork yourself

that's what I did when I applied for my WP...all I paid was £95
